Trump Approved HHS Grant Is A Planned Parenthood Nightmare
Trump Cuts Planned Parenthood And Their Ilk Out Of Huge Grant.
Planned Parenthood is known for its claims of “Family Planning.” But to Planned Parenthood that includes a conversation about killing an unborn child and the methods that they might use. This is nothing new as they are known killers of babies in the name of “Helping the mother.” Trump’s new proposal is going to put a kink in their operations.
The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) is doling out $260 million dollars to organizations that actually do family planning, the kind that doesn’t result in infanticide. They even have a written clause in their statement:
“In particular, this year’s funding opportunity is seeking applicants that offer a broad range of family planning and related health services tailored to the individual needs of the client and that promote optimal health outcomes. As emphasized in the statutory language governing the program, “none of the funds appropriated under this title shall be used in programs where abortion is a method of family planning.”
Planned Parenthood claims that they get 60% of their money from Medicaid reimbursements and the Family Planning Grant. The grant that the HHS is now excluding them from.
“Federal dollars were the single largest source of money coming into the organization and its local affiliates, by far.”
The popular abortion clinic and Community Health Center claims that it is vital to communities. It can’t fathom that other Medical Offices could take on their patients. But this sounds like talk of a company trying to inflate it’s importance as it is about to be losing out on Millions of dollars.

Vice President Pence, a strong opponent of Planned Parenthood has spoken out against them before and likely pushed this current proposal.
“If Planned Parenthood wants to be involved in providing counseling services and HIV testing, they ought not be in the business of providing abortions,” Pence told POLITICO in an interview “As long as they aspire to do that, I’ll be after them.”
“HHS said Friday that applications would be due in May and awarded in September and that any facility threatened with a funding lapse would be able to request new funding.”
