Alabama University Helps Racially Divisive Dean Find The Door
The University of Alabama looks like it doesn’t put up with Liberals anti-America, divisive rhetoric. It looks like they helped one of their Deans find the door after his hateful tweets became public knowledge.
Jamie R. Riley, the University of Alabama’s assistant vice president and dean of students tweeted the following in the past couple of years:
“The [American flag emoji] flag represents a systemic history of racism for my people,” Riley wrote in a September 2017 tweet. “Police are a part of that system. Is it that hard to see the correlation?”
In another 2017 tweet, Riley, who has served in the position at the University of Alabama since February of this year, claimed white people do not understand racism because “they can’t even experience racism.”
“I’m baffled about how the first thing white people say is, ‘That’s not racist!’ when they can’t even experience racism,” Riley questioned, before adding a note to white people. “You have 0 opinion!”
This man is supposed to be overseeing students and he has this horrible mindset.
“Riley was named to the position on Dec. 13, 2018 after a national search and he began serving on Feb. 25, 2019. Before gaining the position at the University of Alabama, Riley served as the executive director and chief operating officer of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He also served in student affairs and diversity and inclusion roles at institutions including Johns Hopkins University, The University of California-Berkeley and Morehouse College. ”
“Jackson Fuentes, press secretary for the UA Student Government Association, confirmed at 4:15 p.m. that Riley is no longer working at the University.
“For us right now, basically all I can tell you is that the University and Dr. Riley have mutually agreed to part ways,” Fuentes said. “So yeah, that’s true, and we do wish him the best.”
In an email at 5:03 p.m., assistant director of the Division of Strategic Communications Chris Bryant released an official statement on behalf of the University confirming Riley’s resignation.
“Dr. Jamie Riley has resigned his position at The University of Alabama by mutual agreement,” Bryant said in the email. “Neither party will have any further comments.”
Good for the University of Alabama, that Dean was teaching divisive rhetoric and should not be overseeing young impressionable minds.
