Breaking: Man Set To Testify In Fani Willis Case Has Vanished [Details]

The House Judiciary Committee has been facing difficulties in locating Nathan Wade in order to serve him a subpoena for his testimony in the Fani Willis investigation. According to a spokesperson for the committee, Russell Dye, this situation is “extremely unusual” as the committee has served more than 100 subpoenas this Congress without any issues. Dye also stated that this matter would require the committee to spend taxpayer money to locate Wade, which is a rare situation.

In March, a judge had ordered Wade to step down from his position in the election interference case against former President Donald Trump, after defendants had attempted to disqualify Willis from the case due to her relationship with Wade. As a result, the House Judiciary Committee had decided to include Wade’s testimony as part of their probe into Willis.

Dye further added, “Nathan Wade’s evasion of service is extremely unusual and will require the Committee to spend U.S. tax dollars to locate him.” This indicates that the committee may have to resort to hiring a private investigator or sending a staffer to locate Wade, which would incur additional cost to taxpayers.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time that Willis has evaded a subpoena. In February, she failed to take service of a subpoena over email, forcing the U.S. Marshals to personally deliver it to her. This is another instance where taxpayers may have to foot the bill for Willis’ lack of cooperation.

The reason for the House Judiciary Committee‘s interest in Wade’s testimony is due to his involvement in a higher-paying contract awarded to him by Willis, despite another expert already working on the case. This raises concerns about potential misuse of federal funds by Willis.

Adding to the controversy, Willis ignored a subpoena from a Georgia state senate committee investigating her alleged misconduct. Instead, on the same day, she chose to attend the legislative conference for the Congressional Black Caucus in Washington, D.C. This raises questions about her priorities and her willingness to cooperate with investigations against her.

Despite repeated attempts to locate Nathan Wade for his testimony, he has not responded to any requests for comment.

The House Judiciary Committee is determined to get to the bottom of this matter and will continue their efforts to serve him the subpoena. However, the delay and potential additional costs to taxpayers highlight the need for cooperation from all parties involved in the investigation.
