New Poll Analysis Is Sure To Trigger The Left

The New York Times recently put out a poll that at first glance would appear to be a blow to Trump. But if you look back at the 2016 election it appears this could be for the best as these were the exact kind of numbers that Trump had back when he beat Hillary in 2016.

The NY Times lead polling analyst, Nate Cohn, just released battleground state polling that must be shaking Democrats to their core.

Cohn wrote in a tweet, “New Times/Siena polls show [President] Trump highly competitive in the six closest states carried by the president in ’16: Biden+2, Biden 46 to Trump 45, Even, Sanders 45, Trump 45, Trump+2, Trump 46, Warren 44.” Cohn added, “2016 result in these states was Trump+2, 48 to 46.”

“The similarities of our results and our compilation of polls from 2016 is also striking.” In other words, despite three years of the media and its leftist allies attacking Donald Trump daily, there has been almost no movement in the polls.

This suggests that if the 2020 election were held today, Donald Trump would win re-election. Keep that in mind when you read media stories about the impeachment proceedings.”

Meanwhile, the Dems are probably thinking this poll is a win for them. The newest polls for the Dems show Warren is taking the lead against Biden which could mean Trump is in for an easy win in 2020. According to Rollingstone.com she is starting to take a real lead against the former VP.

When we moved Elizabeth Warren into the No. 1 slot a couple of weeks ago, it was a tough call. But momentum has continued to swing in her favor. She has opened up a six-point lead over Joe Biden in a new poll of early voting states, with voters far more likely to see her as both fighting for them and able to parry President Donald Trump’s attacks.

The deeper one digs into polling, the rosier the situation looks for Warren. She’s the most broadly acceptable Democrat in the race. In a recent NBC poll, she counted 25 percent support each from party voters under 35 and over 65. Even Democrats who prefer someone else seem to like Warren. Her advantage in Iowa, for example, vaults to 12 percent if voters’ first and second choices are counted. Perhaps most important for future success, Warren has grown her support among black voters to nearly 20 percent, suggesting that her message of “structural change” is resonating outside of white, educated liberal circles.

Biden, meanwhile, finds himself pinned down at the center of an impeachment fight, created by Trump and Rudy Giuliani, who pressured Ukraine to dig up dirt on Biden and his son Hunter. Even giving Biden every benefit of the doubt, this saga is offering voters a preview of the down-and-dirty general-election fight. Biden is playing adequate defense, but not showing much liveliness on the counter attack.”

So the bottom line is the polls are not the most reliable resource when it comes to showing who will win as Trump proved that in the last election.
