Ocasio-Cortez Tries To Start Panic With Her Doomsday Prophecy, See Where She Got Her Facts!

Apparently, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has jumped from believing herself to be a ‘traumatizing Trump Policies therapist‘ of the people, to a bonified prophet.  Ocasio-Cortez took to Twitter to try and cause mass panic after clearly reading a CNN article on Climate change.

Even though the report states that the Trump administration released the report it also claims that the President did so during Thanksgiving weekend to ‘hide it from the public’. I guess these guys aren’t catching on, the President isn’t big on hiding anything…

“People are going to die if we don’t start addressing climate change ASAP. It’s not enough to think it’s “important.” We must make it urgent. That’s why we need a Select Committee on a Green New Deal, & why fossil fuel-funded officials shouldn’t be writing climate change policy.”

According to The Daily Wire, Ocasio-Cortez cited a report released Friday by the U,S. Global Change Research Program, a voluntary committee of scientists from 13 federal agencies and a number of outside pressure groups, that warned that thousands could die, and the United States could suffer a striking 10% reduction in its gross national product by the end of this century if humans do not curb their fossil fuel consumption.

CNN reports that the US Global Change Research Program estimates tens of thousands of “premature deaths” from the effects of climate change, including deaths from starvation, mosquito-borne illnesses, extreme heat, flooding and other natural disasters.

The report seems extreme on its face, and critics were quick to point out that the computer models used to predict the “thousands” of deaths may be outdated, but leftists, including Ocasio-Cortez, soaked up the report without question, inciting mass panic.

Of course in her rant, Ocasio-Cortez includes a backlink to the CNN article as her ‘reliable source’. It’s too bad for her a recent report by climate change advocating scientist shows them admitting to ‘muffing’ the numbers and discrediting their own work.

That didn’t stop a few die-hard Ocasio-Cortez fans from jumping on her ‘panic bandwagon’. There were, however, more level-headed Twitter users responding to the inexperienced politician than you may think:

“The climate has been changing for millions of years!! The sun is one big fireball, sometimes it burns a little hotter than others. You do know that some of the hottest weather was back in the early 1900’s?

-“[The Earth] goes through climate changes all the time. The last one was about 10,000 years ago with the last ice age. Mankind survived that, and we’ll survive whatever comes. However, it won’t happen as quickly as the alarmists like Al Gore say, and we aren’t going to be able to stop it.

That’s just a few of the free-thinking user who responded to Ocasio-Cortez dark proficiency with logic. Perhaps it’s a sign that the public is tired of the Ocasio-Cortez’s and Al Gore’s of the world? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
