Old Stormy Is Attempting To Make Headlines Again After Becoming Yesterday’s News
The President of The United States is a title that comes with the responsibility that many would be crushed by. It is a position that should be respected as it is not a simple job by any means. The fate of the American people rests largely in the hands of the president. So when Adult Actress Stormy Daniels jokes about the possibility of running, it is an affront to the office and the American People.
In an interview with the Chicago Tribune, Stormy talked about how her life has changed since her allegations against Trump. People have the weird notion that she is standing up for the little people. Her motive for this allegation seems to be more about getting her name out there and boosting her career more than anything else.
“When someone’s like, ‘You’re speaking out for all women and you’re going to save the world’ — what do you mean?” Daniels said. She reiterated a point she made during a recent “60 Minutes” interview: that this isn’t her #MeToo moment. “I just wanted to stand up for myself, now I’m standing up for everyone. I guess there’s a reason for it.”
She went on to say that she worries about her legacy and her daughter. But what was really scary was her (what we can only hope is a joke) comment at the end of the interview.
“Daniels said she has no plans to run for office. It’s ridiculously expensive to run a campaign and the person best suited to represent the people probably would never get elected, she said.
But at the end of the interview, she said, “I don’t know, should I run for president?”
A laugh. And then: “The terrifying thing is I might win.”
It still amazes me that there was such a big deal made about her. She is benefiting like crazy from all of the publicity but what was it that made her such a big deal. Even if the allegations were true, he should have just let her run her mouth. No one would have cared and it would have been hearsay. The $130,000 has just given her claim an air of validity.
But what a scary notion. Stormy Daniels even joking about a presidential run is too much.
