Trump Acts Because Democrats Are Purposefully Dawdling

The illegal immigration situation has finally come to end, well it has been addressed for now anyway. The issue that has been streamed non-stop on Liberal Media is the treatment of illegal immigrant children. Pictures of illegal immigrant children have been largely circulated in an attempt to guilt Americans into thinking that we are caging these children like animals. But this is just the Liberal narrative, we are treating the illegal immigrant children well, it’s just that we were not putting them in the most comfortable quarters as the Liberal would want us to do.

But because of public outcry and the successful guilting of the American public, something had to be done. It was turning in to an Anti-Trump incident. The Department of Homeland Security and Trump both wanted a comprehensive bill passed to address this issue. But the Democrats prevented any immediate hope of that. They were less than cooperative. Senate Minority Leader Schumer claimed the only fix could be found in an executive order from Trump.

So Trump signed an executive order because Democrats refused to sign any Republican-backed bills. Trump commented on their lack of cooperation.

It’s the Democrats fault, they won’t give us the votes needed to pass good immigration legislation. They want open borders, which breeds horrible crime. Republicans want security. But I am working on something – it never ends!”

He then went on to express how he felt Democrats cared more for the illegal immigrants than American Citizens.

“The Democrats want open borders let everybody come in. Let everyone pour in we don’t care. Let them come in from the middle east, let them come in from all over the place. We don’t care… We are not going to let it happen and by the way today I signed an executive order. We are going to keep families together. But the border is going to be just as tough as it’s been. Democrats don’t care about the impact of uncontrolled migration.”

The executive order lays down new guidelines, requiring families to be kept together in the custody of the Department of Homeland Security.”
But that position is almost certain to be challenged in court because of a 1997 consent agreement that stipulates that children can be kept in detention only for 20 days.  That decision could even lead to families being separated again.
“It’s absolutely a possibility,” Jonathan Turley, a George Washington University professor of law, said on CNN, laying out two possibilities if the administration could not get the consent agreement modified, a scenario he judged as doubtful.
“You reunite the family; a clock is ticking. If it goes beyond 20 days, you either release the entire family, which is similar to the Obama policy that the President wants to change,” said Turley. “Or you once again separate the family and send the child into some type of custodial care.”
