Trump Destroys Woodwards ‘Reckless’ Book: “I’ll Write A Real Book!”
Looks like the Longtime journalist, Bob Woodward, really step in it this time! The White House called his unverified book ‘reckless’ and ‘careless’ for presenting his book as ‘fact -filled’. The book looks to be another bogus ‘bash Trump’ money-grabbing scheme.
Press Secretary, Sarah Sanders Slammed Woodward shortly after Trump destroyed him by saying he would write a book of his own. To top it all off, the White House has NOT ruled out seeking legal action against Woodward for his slanderous book.
“A number of people have come out and said Woodward never even reached out to corroborate statements attributed to them, which seems incredibly reckless for a book to make such outrageous claims to not even take the time to get a $10 fact-checker to call around and verify that some of these quotes happened,” Sanders said during Monday’s press briefing.
“When no effort was made it seems like a very careless and reckless way to write a book,” she added.

As Reported By Snopes:
On Monday, Trump tweeted that “the Woodward book is a Joke – just another assault against me, in a barrage of assaults, using now disproven unnamed and anonymous sources. Many have already come forward to say the quotes by them, like the book, are fiction. Dems can’t stand losing. I’ll write the real book!”

Trump also insisted that the White House is a “smooth running machine.” That’s counter to accounts in Woodward’s book and in an anonymous op-ed in The New York Times from a senior administration official of a Trump White House mired in dysfunction, with aides disparaging the Republican president and working to prevent him from making disastrous decisions.
In the Woodward book, Kelly is quoted as saying of Trump: “He’s an idiot. It’s pointless to try to convince him of anything. He’s gone off the rails. We’re in crazytown.”
