Watch:Whoopi Goldberg Is Forced To Intervene As McCain And Behar Go Overboard
The ladies at “The View” are at it again. This time Joy Behar and Meghan McCain got into a heated argument about the size of crowds at political venues and how Trump supporters hate the same things Trump hates. Behar was rude, as per usual, and continuously cut off McCain which started the heated exchange.
“Why do people love him so much?” McCain’s Producer asked, McCain
“Sometimes, it’s not just that they love Trump so much, it’s that they hate the same things that Trump hates. That’s what’s going on,” McCain explained.
“Who? Black people, you mean?” Behar responded. “And immigrants?” Who do they hate?”
“You know what, Joy? I really come here every day open-minded, just trying to explain it, and it’s not a fun job for me every day,” McCain said. “I know you’re angry. I get that you’re angry that Trump’s president, like a lot of people are, but I don’t think yelling at me is going to fix the problem.”
“Am I yelling at her?” Behar asked the crowd
“Yes.” McCain answered.
Behar continuously tried to add in her two cents while McCain was talking.
“I just said it was hard for me to watch Lindsey Graham who I considered an uncle, for a long time. Ok. I’m trying to explain why 2020 is not in the bag for you,” McCain added. “It’s not.”
“Ok Guys, It’s a great discussion and we can go back to it, I just need everyone to take a beat.” Goldberg finally stopped them for a minute.
“But being the sacrificial Republican every day, I’m just trying to…
“Awww,” Behar said likely sarcastically.
“Oh, don’t feel bad for me, b—-,” snapped McCain. “I’m paid to do this, OK. Don’t feel bad for me.”
Co-host Sunny Hostin admonished, “Let’s not start calling each other bitches.”
Watch The Video Below.
“After a timely commercial break, McCain claimed she’s fond of the word and says she and Behar both use it regularly.
“Joy and I call each other ‘bitch’ all the time,” she said. “I know this is a big shock: We get along backstage!”
Behar supported McCain.
“We’re both pugilistic, and so it’s fine. I’m very straight in what I believe, and so is she, so we’re going to fight,” Behar said. “I don’t care if you call me a bitch.”
McCain let the cat out of the bag. The fighting is just good TV, and they get along just fine when away from the cameras. That kind of kills the fun a bit. How much of this is staged?
