Woman Calls On Social Media To Get Justice In Her Liberal State
It turns out California is lacking in another way. The homelessness, fecal matter, and rats were not enough. A Californian woman, Paneez Kosarianfard, was attacked by a homeless man in San Francisco. She pursued charges and the man was originally released after pretrial told to see a caseworker. The woman was outraged and posted the video on Twitter where it went viral.
“@GavinNewsom Please watch this video of me getting attacked at my front door less than 72-hrs ago. The man who attacked me was released this morning because the judge, Christine Van Aken believes that this man is not a danger to our community. PLEASE SAVE OUR CITY!! #savesf”
“I need answers!! @JerryBrownGov @GavinNewsom recall judge Christine Van Aken, she is not fit for this job and is putting all of our lives in danger. What are you waiting for? Please, you have to do something. #recallchristinevanaken.”
The Judge prompted by the video and the publically motivated leaders readdressed the situation. The homeless man now has to wear an ankle monitor.

“The outrage from officials and the public came in the wake of a widely shared building surveillance video showing the attack. But Van Aken said Friday that the video hadn’t been submitted in court and she had not seen it when she ruled in the case. She saw it Wednesday on a TV in a restaurant.
“When I saw the video, I was frankly alarmed at the level of violence,” she said at Friday’s hearing. “It altered my assessment of the public-safety risk of this case. I take public safety very seriously.”
“City Attorney Dennis Herrera criticized the district attorney’s decision to not present the video as evidence during Vincent’s arraignment.
“We now know from today’s court proceeding that the district attorney’s office … did not provide that key piece of evidence to the judge. That is information that should’ve been before the judge so she could weigh all of the facts in this case.”
There is not always a video. Seems like the judge wasn’t all that concerned about how violent the homeless man was until it was made public.
