Ingraham Angle Pulls In Bigger Crowd Than Competitors.
David Hogg is a kid that has turned Political activist. But his style of discussion leaves much to be desired. When he boycotted Ingraham for her use of the word “whine,” he had hoped that he would be able to put a stop to her show. He didn’t argue or discuss with her instead it was a bullying tactic to hurt her well being. Well after losing multiple advertisers from his meddling, Ingraham has come out ahead. She is owning the ratings for her time slot.
Hogg’s attempt at sabotaging and destroying her show has failed. Ingraham’s first week back from vacation showed that people didn’t care about his boycott or the weak advertisers that couldn’t hang in. The people wanted more of the Truth and unbiased news from Ingraham, that the Mainstream Media fails to provide.
The Ingraham Angle did was the leader of the time slot.
“The Ingraham Angle was the leading cable news show in its time slot, averaging 2.69 million viewers throughout the week. Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell came at a close second, averaging 2.6 million viewers. CNN Tonight came third with an average of 1. 29 million viewers.”
Are Advertisers On The Way Back?
Ingraham’s continued success despite the boycott has made one advertiser recant and go back on its notice to leave. Ace Hardware now states that it did not have the full story and now will stay on with Ingraham.
“Advertising on any network or show, is in no way an endorsement from Ace of the content contained or spoken within that program,” the company said in a statement Thursday night. “We appreciate the different points of view from our customers, and believe people should be treated with respect and civility.”
I guess Hogg didn’t have the power he thought he had, or it could be people are just sick of a teen trying to dictate to them what to do. Hopefully, more advertiser will step up to replace the easily swayed advertisers. Either way, it looks like Laura is here to stay.
