Californian University Encourages Children To Act Inappropriately.
Looks like it is time to break off California from the continental US. There is Liberal and then there is this new trend that is just wrong on multiple levels. The University of California, in Santa Barbara, has a sexual education website that is run by their sociology department and the students working in that field. The website looks to be helpful in some ways as far as giving out advice and pertinent information. But in one area it has some odd advise, when it comes to children.
The website talks about childhood sexuality and how children will discover their genitalia at a young age. In some rare cases, the child will even engage in masturbation. Not in the traditional sense but simple rubbing their thighs against their privates. But the website takes an odd turn when it talks of interaction between toddlers.
“Children might display affection to their friends by hugging and kissing, or touching each other’s genitals, which is perfectly normal. Parents should not react in a negative way because children are just exploring. Sexual play between children can cause harm if the acts are non-consensual or hurtful, in which case parents should intervene.”
So they think parents should encourage the toddlers touching each other’s genitals? By children, they mean as young as 3 and old as 6. How is this acceptable conduct?

Another article goes on to encourage pornography for children and how parents should set limits. I originally thought that they had misspoken when reading about this, but they say, children and teens. I know it’s the digital age but I can’t see any parent encouraging their young child to watch porn.
“One type of online media source that many children and teens (primarily adolescent boys) may consume is pornography. It is important that children understand that viewing pornography is a normal habit, and that they do not need to be ashamed of it.”
Is this the new normal? Or another example of California’s over the top Liberal nature?
