Judge Goes TOO FAR In Anti-Trump Rant As He Decides To Push DACA Further

DACA ‘Dreamers’ and their sympathizers took aim against Trump before he even took office and now it looks like they may be gaining some ground with the DACA lawsuit.

Judge Garaufis decided to proceed with the multi-State lawsuit against Trump, practically calling him a racist.

According to the New York Times, The ruling on Thursday took the legal process in New York one step further, strongly hinting at what Judge Garaufis thought about the suit’s central claims.

It did not offer a conclusive win for the plaintiffs, only allowing the case to move forward toward a summary judgment decision or a trial.

But it was notable for its strong language, suggesting that there may have been an improper racial motivation, for rescinding the DACA program.

As Reported By Rick Moran with American Thinker:

A lawsuit brought by several states against the Trump administration’s effort to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) can go forward, a federal judge ruled yesterday.

The suit claims that DACA protections should be maintained for DREAMers because the decision to end it was “racially motivated.”

The judge said that was impossible to prove but said Trump statements as a candidate and as president that reveal, in his opinion, a racial bias, could be used.

The Hill:

U.S. District Judge Nicholas Garaufis ruled in New York that the lawsuit could move forward, but narrowed the scope of the legal action, Bloomberg News reported.

He said the plaintiffs — which include New York State, the District of Columbia and 15 state attorneys general — could proceed with a claim that Trump’s decision to rescind the Obama-era program was racially motivated and was intended to unlawfully target Latinos.

Garaufis, an appointee of former President Clinton, previously issued an injunction barring the Trump administration from moving forward with deportations of immigrants brought to the country illegally as children, known as “Dreamers,” who were offered protections under DACA.
