Magazine Proves It’s Liberal Bias By Firing Pro-Life Writer
Liberal Rag, The Atlantic, proved it is a Liberal Closed shop when they fired Pro-Life Writer Kevin Williamson. The Atlantic had only employed Williamson for two weeks, before making the decision to let him go.
The Magazine had hired him back on the 22nd of March. Liberals at the time had expressed their outrage at his hiring, claiming The Atlantic had committed “journalistic and ethical malfeasance.” When he was hired The editor Jeffrey Goldberg had stood by his choice believing that Williamson would be adding a fresh viewpoint to the magazine.
“(Williamson) He’s an excellent reporter who covers parts of the country, and aspects of American life, that we don’t yet cover comprehensively. I happen to think that conservatives made ideologically homeless by the rise of Trump are some of the most interesting people in America, and I want to read them whenever I can.
As our staff knows, because I go on about this ad nauseam, I take very seriously the idea that The Atlantic should be a big tent for ideas and argument. It is my mission to make sure that we outdo our industry in achieving gender equality and racial diversity. It is also my job is to make sure that we are ideologically diverse.
Diversity in all its forms makes us better journalists; it also opens us up to new audiences. I would love to have an Ideas section filled with libertarians, socialists, anarcho-pacifists, and theocons, in addition to mainstream liberals and conservatives, all arguing with each other.”

Goldberg was giving Williamson a second chance until Liberals started showing their intolerance of opposing political views.
Williamson, back in 2014 during a podcast, had expressed a strong disdain for abortions. He felt the mothers should be punished for engaging in them.
“I am … I’m kind of squishy on capital punishment in general, but that I’m absolutely willing to see abortion treated like a regular homicide under the criminal code, sure.”
Sure, that’s a strong opinion. But abortion is a big deal, and should not be shrugged off as a simple choice. Mothers are choosing whether or not to kill a child, and that is something Liberals always try to gloss over.
It’s unfortunate that the editor was unable to diversify the magazine. An opposing view was apparently too intimidating for his readers and existing writers.
