Al Green And His Like Minded Anti-Trumper Democrats Fail To Deliver On Thier Ridiculous Promise To Impeach Trump.
Al Green is at once again trying to Impeach our President and this time he went further than his regular threat of future impeachment that he always prattles on about. This time he brought the matter of impeachment up for a congressional vote or attempted to at least.
Al Green claims that Trump is a “disgrace to the presidency” and has somehow failed the American people. He went on with his anti-Trump banter further demonizing Trump painting him with a broad accusatory brush. He claimed Trump harmed society by “inciting hate and hostility” that was racially charged, national origin biased, gender intolerant and sexual orientation insensitive. All baseless claims that can be summed up by manipulative Democrats trying to undermine and discredit the Republican party in their desperate attempt to score a few Senate seats.
He followed up with specific dates claiming the Muslim travel ban was hateful, disregarding the intention of national security.
“Donald J Trump for causing such harm to the society of the United States is unfit to be President and warrants impeachment trial and removal from office.”
Luckily for all of America, the vote although procedural was an utter failure and Al Green was put back in his place. America was safe once again from the ignorant, overly sensitive reach of the Anti-Trumpers.
Lawmakers did not actually vote on the actual articles of impeachment, but on a procedural measure that would have led to a vote on them.
“As I have said before, this is not about Democrats, it is about democracy,” Green wrote in a memo to his colleagues. “It is not about Republicans, it is about the fate of our Republic. May everyone vote their conscience knowing that history will judge us all.”
Green has discussed his intention to impeach Trump since last spring. In October, Green filed impeachment articles that nearly forced a vote — until House Democratic leaders persuaded him to abandon the effort.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., has insisted that any impeachment effort should be put on hold until there is evidence of an impeachable offense.
