Parkland Hero/Student Places The Blame Where It Rightfully Belongs

The Parkland Students seem to be the liberal backed voice of the anti-gun movement. The most vocal members Hogg and Gonzalez have both blamed the guns that Cruz used as opposed to the real culprits.

Anthony Borges was also at the shooting. But he was not a mere witness to the tragedy. He is a Hero, while his classmates only looked on he held the door shut and kept them all safe. In doing so he was shot 5 times protecting his classmates.

This is the student who should have a voice.

I know I’ve been called Iron Man,” Arreaza said, reading the boy’s statement. “And while I’m honored to be called this, I am not. I’m a 15-year-old who’s been shot five times, while Broward Sheriff’s deputies waited outside and decided that they weren’t going to come in the building.”

Addressing himself to Broward Sheriff Scott Israel and School Superintendent Robert Runcie, Borges’ statement said, “I want to thank you for visiting me in the hospital. But I want to say that both of you failed us students and parents and teachers alike on so many levels.”

The family has filed a notice of intent to sue the school district.

Tracey Clark, the spokeswoman for the school district, said the district does not comment on potential or pending litigation.

Earlier on Friday, Anthony’s parents went to El Dorado Furniture in Coconut Creek to receive a check and pick out free furniture for their new home.

Emily Delfin and Royer Borges had to quit their jobs to care for Anthony.

Fellow students say he helped block a door to a classroom, where 20 students were sheltering from the gunman.”
