In a recent interview, Maxine Waters went on a long rant praising the malicious behavior of protesters. She was referring to the Protests at DHS Secretary Nielsen’s house and how Sanders was kicked out of a restaurant for her views. These protests should not have happened. Protesters should not be terrorizing Neilsen and her family. If they want to protest her, they can protest her at public appearances or even outside of her office. But in this case, they involved the family and it is just gross conduct. But Maxine thought this was great as she apparently lacks a sense of decency. Sanders addressed Water’s attempt to incite further misconduct.
“Many by now have heard that I was asked to leave a restaurant this weekend where I attempted to have dinner with my family. My husband and I politely left and went home. I was asked to leave because I work for President Trump.
We are allowed to disagree, but we should be able to do so freely and without fear of harm, and this goes for all people, regardless of politics. Some have chosen to push hate and vandalism against the restaurant that I was asked to leave from. A Hollywood actor publically encouraged people to kidnap my children. And this weekend a member of Congress called for people to push back and make clear to those serving their country and this administration, that they are not welcome anywhere, anytime, for anything.
Healthy debate on ideas and political philosophy is important. But the cause for harassment and the push for any Trump supporter to avoid the public is unacceptable.”

Sanders finished her statement strong explaining to people like Maxine how Trump was making America better for everyone.
“That is exactly what President Trump has done for all Americans by building a booming economy with record low unemployment for African-Americans and Hispanics, the defeat of ISIS and the ongoing work to create peace on the Korean Peninsula.”
But I am sure it fell on deaf ears, as Maxine can’t stand Trump and the idea that he is helping the country goes right over her head.
