It seems that some of the people living in blue states are wising up. They see the heavy taxes, in Calfornia’s case gross mismanagement and filth as well, and want out of these states. And who could blame them. They are eyeballing red states as havens from the wallet-hurting liberals. Steve Moore an Economist from the Heritage Foundation was on “The Daily Briefing” where the talked about how these blue states are scaring people away.
“He said there are “four states of the apocalypse” – New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Illinois – which have the most residents fleeing over high taxes and huge budget problems, Moore claimed.
They are leaving for Florida, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and North Carolina.
“You can buy a house just with the money you save on income taxes,” Moore noted.
“Some northern states say they’re feeling the pain. New Jersey reported a 35 percent decline in income tax revenue for 2018, according to The Wall Street Journal, and officials blamed the drop on tax policy. And New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo complained in February that the policy change was a “diabolical maneuver” to help red states “at the cost of blue states.”
“Our Economy is very strong, despite the horrendous lack of vision by Jay Powell and the Fed, but the Democrats are trying to “will” the Economy to be bad for purposes of the 2020 Election. Very Selfish! Our dollar is so strong that it is sadly hurting other parts of the world…”
I am surprised California still has people there in general. But who would want to live in these overtaxed states? AOC/Dems talk about a living wage and then encourage taxes in their states that make things too expensive for their citizens.
Yea, you are going to need to make minimum wage at least $15 an hour in a blue state.
