Behar Gets Loud When McCain Tries To Change The Subject Off Trump
The View is known to continuously bash Trump. It seems to be Joy Behar’s favorite topic. Monday they were supposed to talk about George H.W. Bush’s many accomplishments and honor his memory. Meghan McCain understood this as she honored his memory. But Joy Behar couldn’t help herself. She had to bash Trump as she seems to be overly fixated with him.
The controversy started as Behar decided to make comparisons between Trump and Bush. She just had to talk about Trump. It feels like she has elementary school crush where she talks poorly about him but secretly favors him.
Joy Behar started off by talking about Bush passing a clean air act. She then blamed Trump for unraveling Bush’s accomplishment before claiming that pollution would be her most important issue if she were to pick one.
But things did not go as planned. Behar intended to go on a tangent comparing Bush with Trump making a mockery of the supposed remembrance of Bush. This time McCain wasn’t having it, she felt that Behar was out of line. She spoke up and gave a Behar a piece of her mind. She was sick of hearing how Behar could connect anything and everything to how she felt about Trump.
Watch The Video Below.
“I wanted to say one thing about him that was not picked up really. Because as a candidate he said those who think we are powerless to do anything about The Green House Effect are forgetting about The White House Effect. He signed into law The Clean Air Act amendment of 1990. One of the most sweeping environmental statutes ever.
This president that we have now is trying to unravel everything that he [Bush] did and Obama did,” Behar said. “If I ever become a one-issue voter, it will be about pollution and the greenhouse effect.”
This is where McCain came in trying to remind Behar that not every day had to be hate on Trump day.
“Can we focus on the president please,” McCain said trying to stop Behar from going on a Trump bashing tirade. I don’t want to talk about Trump… we’re honoring a great president.”
“Excuse me, Excuse me a second, please… I want to talk about the differences.” Behar said bothered by the interruption.
“I’m not interested in your one-issue voter feelings when a president just passed,” McCain said trying to get through to Behar.
Behar tried to take back the floor and partially talked over McCain, “I don’t care what you’re interested in, I’m talking.”
“I don’t care what you’re interested in, either,” McCain shouted back before Whoopi Goldberg interjected with a commercial break.
