Anti-Trump, Anti-Christan, and late-night host Bill Maher shamelessly attacked Judge Kavanaugh and his daughter during his show. Maher also added several insults to Sen. Lindsey Graham for his part in upholding the U.S. justice system where the accused are innocent until proven guilty.
That’s a concept the left can’t seem to grasp. Kavanaugh is accused of sexual assault by professor Christine Ford.
“The fact that Trump can either find people like him or make him … Lindsey Graham needs the stabilizing influence of his dead boyfriend,” Maher said later, in reference to McCain, who died Aug. 25 at age 81.
Maher also accused Kavanaugh of “acting” during the hearing, with one of his guests, CNN commentator April Ryan, saying Kavanaugh spoke only to please President Trump.
The late-night host then went on to claim that Kavanaugh lied when he said his daughter was praying for his accuser. Kavanaugh’s daughter is only 10-years-old and has no place on some late-night shows political banter.
“He was rehearsed. He talked about the press, he talked about the Clintons,” Ryan said. “He was too rehearsed. He was so bombastic.”
“That’s what actors do!” Maher said when talking about Kavanaugh barely holding back the tears during his opening statement to the committee. “They make s— up!”
Trump said he had no backup plan concerning his nomination, and didn’t need one, Fox News reported.
The president also voiced confidence in the investigative process. “The FBI I believe is doing a really great job,” he said. They have been all over already. They have free rein. They’re going to do whatever they have to do, whatever it is they do. They’ll be doing things that we’ve never even thought of, and hopefully, at the conclusion, everything will be fine.”
In the added inquiry, which he expects to take less than a week, Trump said there might be “a blessing in disguise,” exposing Democrats’ machinations over the past several days.
