Bloomberg Triggered Over Possible Trump 2020 Opponent

Over the weekend, former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz announced he is “seriously considering” a run for president as an Independent in 2020.

Schultz said the same in an interview with “60 Minutes” that aired Sunday night. Schultz also aired-out his intentions on social media:

Schultz’s remarks about potentially running for president were not received well by the Left, which hopes to unseat President Donald Trump and believes an Independent such as Schultz could siphon off votes from the eventual Democratic nominee.

In response to Schultz’s flirtation with a presidential candidacy, many on the Left suggested boycotting the coffee chain until the former CEO calls off his run but no liberal “meltdown” could be complete without a full-blown rant from billionaire Micheal Bloomberg.

In his very brief statement, Bloomberg wrote against Schultz running. His fear is that the Indeipantant would split the vote and pave the way for Trump’s successful reelection:

“In 2020, the great likelihood is that an independent would just split the anti-Trump vote and end up re-electing the President. That’s a risk I refused to run in 2016 and we can’t afford to run it now.

We must remain united, and we must not allow any candidate to divide or fracture us. The stakes couldn’t be higher.”

According to The Daily Wire, Bloomberg’s contempt for Trump runs deep. Speaking at the Democratic National Convention in support of Hillary Clinton, he snapped:

“Most of us don’t pretend that we’re smart enough to make every big decision by ourselves. And most of us who have our names on the door know that we are only as good as our word, but not Donald Trump. Throughout his career, Trump has left behind a well-documented record of bankruptcies, thousands of lawsuits, angry shareholders and contractors who feel cheated, and disillusioned customers who feel ripped off. Trump says he wants to run the nation like he’s run his business. God help us.”

The pro-abortion, anti-gun politician turned author has yet again found himself suffering from TDS. Bloomberg, like most liberals in his position, preaches about a stay of unity in a party that doesn’t understand the true meaning of the word.
