Cher Goes GOP? “How Can L.A. Take on Illegals When It Can’t Care for It’s Current Residents?”

Dems are all about taking on Illegals. They think there is no issues with flooding our country with people that are breaking our laws right off the bat. But Singer Cher brought up a point that these open border liberals would rather not hear. She asked them how they intend to care for this influx of people when they can’t even care for their own.

Cher tweeted the following:

“I Understand Helping struggling Immigrants, but MY CITY (Los Angeles) ISNT TAKING CARE OF ITS OWN.WHAT ABOUT THE 50,000+Citizens WHO LIVE ON THE STREETS.PPL WHO LIVE BELOW POVERTY LINE,& HUNGRY? If My State Can’t Take Care of Its Own(Many Are VETS)How Can it Take Care Of More.”

Cher’s tweet is in response to Trump claiming that he will be busing illegals to Sanctuary Cities only because of Dems that refuse to help change immigration laws.

Due to the fact that Democrats are unwilling to change our very dangerous immigration laws, we are indeed, as reported, giving strong considerations to placing Illegal Immigrants in Sanctuary Cities only,” Trump wrote on Twitter, confirming a Washington Post report.

Trump’s latest move on immigration comes days after U.S. officials said they arrested or denied entry to over 103,000 people along the border with Mexico in March, more than twice as many as the same period last year.”

But Dems were undeterred.

Democratic U.S. mayors said on Friday their cities would welcome illegal immigrants, dismissing President Donald Trump’s threats to transport people detained at the border to “sanctuary cities” as illustrating the White House’s callous approach to the issue.

The mayor of Los Angeles, Eric Garcetti, responded by saying on Twitter: “These are people, not pawns, Mr. President.”

While left-wing mayors say they will continue to admit any and all illegal and legal immigrants, Los Angeles is home to the second largest homeless population in the country, second to only New York City. About 50,000 residents of Los Angeles are homeless and about 7.5 percent of California’s American Veteran population is homeless.

As the city remains crippled by homelessness and skyrocketing housing costs, Los Angeles metro area is also home to the second largest illegal alien population — with nearly a million illegal aliens living in the region, according to Pew Research Center.”
