Parkland School Shooting Gun Control Advocate, David Hogg, must be a little off, as he claims there have been seven failed attempts on his life. I don’t see how that is possible. Sure, he is anti-gun, but he is like the AOC of the Gun Control Movement. He makes stupid comments on the regular. Why would anyone look to take him out?
Hogg commented on the assassination attempts during an interview with the Washington Post.
“But I also realize, if they kill me, that’s probably the stupidest thing they could do to try to end the movement. Because that would make it even more successful in the end. Because it would invigorate us and create f—ing change.”
“Hogg said that in the last year alone, multiple people have threatened his life. He acknowledged it’s “horrible that I have to live through this, and it is traumatizing.”
“Honestly, I realize that it’s horrible that I have to live through this, and it is traumatizing. But you eventually become desensitized to it. Like, oh, your house got SWAT-ted. You got a call from the police saying someone said that everyone in your family had been killed and that you are being held hostage for $100,000. Right? That becomes part of daily life. It’s just something that you have to get through. But I mean, what am I going to do? Stop? … Well, I’m not going to stop. I want to go to school and, for lack of a better word, weaponize my knowledge and learn as much as possible to end violence.” “It’s just something that you have to get through. But I mean, what am I going to do? Stop?”
I bet Hogg is being trolled a little with these threats, as he is a public figure and that will attract all sorts, but 7 seems a little high. Hogg will be attending, what appears to be the anti-gun school Harvard. The very school that rescinded an invitation to Kyle Kashuv.
