DNC Chair Tom Perez went off the deep end insinuating Trump was compromised by the Russians. Apparently, the Mueller Report was not enough to convince Perez that there was no collusion.
During an interview on “New Day” with Alisyn Camerota, Perez opened up about how he thinks Trump is in cahoots with the Russians.
“I want to ask about the values you stated for the DNC moving forward,” CNN’s Alisyn Camerota said. “As we all know, Russians hacked into the DNC computers and changed the course of the election. Maybe not the outcome, but certainly the course of American history. Everyone is grappling with this and what to do.
You put out a statement saying: “The Democratic National Committee won’t encourage the theft of private data, nor will we seek out or weaponize stolen private data for political gain. And I’m calling on you to put country above party and publicly pledge that the Republican National Committee will do the same.”
Here is the statement we received from the RNC on that topic. They say: “Any breach of our political organizations regardless of party is an affront to all of us. We should come together as Americans to prevent it from ever happening again. It is important we do all we can to safeguard our future elections.”
“Are you satisfied?” Camerota asked Tom Perez”
“Of course not, this should have been a layup. What the Vice President’s video points out is that Charlottesville should have been a layup for President Trump. That wasn’t about right versus left that was about right versus wrong.”
“What we saw in the 2016 election, a foreign adversary, and not just any foreign adversary, our fiercest foreign adversary, attempted to interfere with our election to help Donald Trump and hurt Hillary Clinton. What we said in 2016 and my predecessor asked her counterpart at the RNC back then to do the same thing. Don’t use stolen information. That’s what we’re saying again.”
Camerota then paraphrased the RNC statement: “It sounds like they are saying that. When they say it is an affront to all of us, it sounds like they are saying that.”
“Then you see the reporting in yesterday’s news about the former Homeland Security secretary who expressed concerns about this happening again and was told, you can’t bring it up in front of Donald Trump,” Perez responded.
“We are at war now,” Perez continued. “It is a cyber war. Unfortunately, because our commander in chief is compromised, the federal government is asleep at the switch. That’s why the DNC and others in the Democratic Party eco-system are working tirelessly to make sure we are protecting our data, we’re working with every campaign to provide cybersecurity training because we can’t expect help from this administration.”

It’s funny that the DNC would worry about election tampering when it came out that the DNC rigged the Dem primary in Hillary’s favor. And now according to Perez they are worried about the safety of the 2020 election as if they have any room to talk about the sanctity of an election. Trump has already proven that he cares more about the welfare of the people than any of the Dems just look at the Border. The Dems were intending to just look the other way as their potential voters crossed into our country illegally. Trump is doing everything in his power to secure our borders and keep Americans safe.
Perez is doing what he does best bashing the president, hoping he can turn people away from him. If he actually cared about Russian interference he would be looking into Obama and his super weak stance on the Russians, but I guess that doesn’t matter as much since he is a Dem.
