The Democrats are back at it with talks of impeachment, but this time Kavanaugh is their target. These ant-Kavanaugh Democrats are demanding the impeachment of the newly appointed justice, and apparently, they don’t care about due process or a crucial thing called evidence. Hawaiian Senator Mazie Hirono has been one of the more outspoken opponents of Kavanaugh and has made outrageous claims.
“The credibility is there for her. So I believe her,” Hirono told The New York Times of the Palo Alto University professor, who goes by Christine Blasey professionally, on Tuesday.
“This whole idea that the Republicans have, that women just sit around making these things up, that is not borne out by the reality,” she added, referring to the dozens of comments from Republicans questioning Blasey’s story.
“But really, guess who’s perpetuating all of these kinds of actions? It’s the men in this country. And I just want to say to the men in this country: Just shut up and step up. Do the right thing for a change.”
So as you can see her statements relied on hearsay, like all of the Kavanaugh allegations. But she still made the determination that he was guilty.
Hirono is part of the faction of Democrats who are hoping to impeach the recently appointed justice. If The Democrats won back the majority, Senator Jerrold Nadler would be the Senate Judiciary Chairman. He has already claimed that he is willing to impeach Kavanaugh.
Gutfeld Highlighted how Hirono would not say no to impeachment if the Democrats found a way to win back the majority. He then pointed out what the Democrats are really saying when they back these unfounded allegations.
“If Democrats prefer belief over due process, then put a ring on it,” he said. “Democrats should believe any allegation against themselves. No [due] process, just punishment for you.”
