John McCain Talks About Releasing The Unverified Dossier

According to Fox News, U.S. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., apparently has no regrets about his role in the release of the so-called Steele dossier, which is said to contain salacious allegations about then-candidate Donald Trump.

In excerpts of his forthcoming book, “The Restless Wave: Good Times, Just Causes, Great Fights, and Other Appreciations,” the 81-year-old senator – who is recuperating at home following recent cancer treatment and surgery – acknowledges that he delivered the information to then-FBI Director James Comey.

What has been going on with McCain? James H. Warner, a POW with McCain during the Vietnam War alludes that McCain’s tumor may be responsible for his behavior. “The John that I knew was one of the greatest heroes”, Warner expressed his disappointment in McCain’s decision to turn his back on the President.

The liberal media has played McCain in so many ways over the years. At several points, they’ve referred to the Senator as a sellout. So it’s no surprise they’ve seized the opportunity to make McCain their frontrunner against Trump.

As Written By Lauren Gambino With The Guardian:

Republicans are on the “wrong side” of the immigration debate, Senator John McCain says in a forthcoming memoir that reflects on his more than 30 years in Congress.

The question of immigration has long set McCain apart from his Republican colleagues, but he writes in The Restless Wave: Good Times, Just Causes, Great Fights, and Other Appreciations that the party will change “when the politics for them change”.

“Right now, Republicans are on the wrong side of that progress,” McCain continues, “and if we want to retain our competitiveness in the fastest-growing communities in the country we’ll stop letting the zealots drive the debate, and fix the problems that [give] them their soapbox.”

The passage on immigration articulates the Arizona senator’s disagreement with Donald Trump’s nationalistic, America First view of the world.
