The Second Amendment protects all of us from those a who would do us harm and someday possibly government tyranny. Kent State Graduate Kaitlin Bennett, 22, knows this and is sick of the laws and ordinances that keep us “safe.” So she posed for a picture in front of Kent State after she graduated to make a point. The photo was not about her but her belief in the second amendment.
She tweeted the following that has triggered many gun hating liberals.
“Now that I graduated from @KentState, I can finally arm myself on campus. I should have been able to do so as a student- especially since 4 unarmed students were shot and killed by the government on this campus. #CampusCarryNow”
But Bennett is not your average college student. She is an outspoken gun advocate and believes Kent State values campus guests over the attending students.
“I wanted to draw attention to the gun policies on campus that allow guests to open carry, but not students,” she said. “I find it insulting that the school values the lives of their guests more than those attending the university for four years.”
Despite the Anti-Gun outcry she holds strong to her belief and made sure to tell everyone on twitter as much.
“I have no apologies for my graduation photos. As a woman, I refuse to be a victim & the second amendment ensures that I don’t have to be.”
