The liberal media loves to pit Republicans against each other. We’re seeing it now with Rick Wilson of the Lincoln Project and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. On a recent MSNBC show, Wilson made some rather violent and damning statements about DeSantis.
Wilson attacked DeSantis’s personality, claiming that he “doesn’t like humans, has to pretend to be human.” He also said that DeSantis has a “mean streak,” despite Wilson’s own reputation for being quite mean himself.
Surprisingly, Wilson praised Donald Trump. He said Trump has “charisma” and “energy,” and then predicted that in a debate with DeSantis, Trump would “tear Ron DeSantis’s head off and kick it around like a soccer ball.”
This kind of violent rhetoric is all too common in the liberal media, and it’s horrifying. The left seems to have a craving for violence. They think that it’s okay to use violence as a way to score political points.
But violence, whether physical or verbal, is never the answer. It’s never okay to wish that someone else’s head be torn off and kicked around like a soccer ball. It’s never okay to attack someone else’s personality. These are all things that we should be condemning, not encouraging.
In a civilized society, we should be able to debate and discuss our politics in a civil manner. We should be able to disagree without resorting to violence. We should also be able to see through the liberal media’s attempts to pit Republicans against each other.
The liberal media is nothing more than a tool for the left. They use it to divide and conquer, and make sure that their agenda is the only one that’s heard. We can’t let them get away with it. We must stand together and insist that politics be discussed in a respectful manner. We must not allow the left to continue to peddle violence and vitriol.
