CNN released one of the recorded conversations between Cohen and Trump. Just one issue, they refused to provide views with the transcript. That’s important because everyone who simply turns on captioning sees the truth.
CNN’s Twitter post: “Full audio: Presidential candidate Trump is heard on tape discussing with his attorney Michael Cohen how they would buy the rights to a Playboy model’s story about an alleged affair Trump had with her years earlier, according to the audio recording”

Though the host, Chris Cuomo, says ‘this is not a great quality recording’, most liberal media outlets are running the story as if Trump told his then lawyer, Cohen, to pay in cash. Twitter users blasted CNN for misrepresenting the audio. Most of which, are anti-Trumpers. Take a look.
Cohen, who secretly recorded the conversation, can be heard telling Trump that he needs “to open up a company for the transfer of all of that info regarding our friend David,” likely referring to American Media Inc. head David Pecker.
What financing?” Trump asks, interrupting Cohen.
The lawyer tells the then-candidate, “we’ll have to pay,” and Trump is heard telling him, “pay with cash,” though it’s not clear from the muddled sound whether Trump is suggesting paying or not paying.
Just one issue, if you put the video on closed-caption what Trump said was ‘don’t pay with cash’. Trump’s lawyer, Giuliani, confirmed that is the accurate transcript. This was also verified by CBSN.
So if something as simple as turning on closed-captioning clears up what exactly Trump said in the meeting with his lawyer, why is the mainstream media throwing in doubt? To fit an agenda perhaps? Here is the original ‘interpretation’ of CNN. Note how eerily similar the two site’s statements are:
When financing comes up again later in the conversation, Trump interrupts Cohen asking, “What financing?” according to the recording. When Cohen tells Trump, “We’ll have to pay,” Trump is heard saying “pay with cash” but the audio is muddled and it’s unclear whether he suggests paying with cash or not paying. Cohen says, “no, no” but it is not clear what is said next.
No payment was ever made from Trump, Rudy Giuliani, the President’s attorney, has said. Giuliani has previously acknowledged that the recorded discussion related to the buying the story rights.
On Chris Cuomo’s ‘bombshell’ reveal of the tape he says that he doesn’t turn on the transcript because there is so much debate about what is exactly said. Interesting…
