Maryland PD Makes Devastating Point Against Ford
The Kavanaugh hearing is currently the focal point of the news. As his appointment will help to shape our great country. The nominee had been under fire by the Democrats. Whether it be by Feinstein with her stall tactics or the sudden victims of Kavanaugh that fell out of the woodwork when they heard about his possible appointment. It’s like what Limbaugh said earlier this month:
“So Chairman Grassley has a job to do here, because if he gives Democrats enough time, they’ll produce a woman claiming to be Kavanaugh’s secret Russian wife who Trump paid to urinate on that bed in Moscow. If Grassley waits long enough, the Democrats will come up with the woman claiming to be Kavanaugh’s secret Russian wife. — he’s a bigamist, too, don’t you know — and Trump paid Kavanaugh’s second wife to hire a bunch of prostitutes to urinate on the bed Obama slept in while in Moscow.”
He was right when you think about it. The Avanetti client who is just claiming Kavanaugh was at a party where she was gang raped. Not that he participated or even had anything to do with, just that he was present. But the Maryland Police Department brought up an interesting point. It turns out in Maryland there is not any statute of limitations on sexual assault charges.
So then why haven’t they came after Kavanaugh? Well, it turns out back in the 80’s at the time of the allegation there were not any laws on the books that could be used to go after Kavanaugh. So according to the law even if something were to have happened it would not have been seen as a crime.
“Maryland laws on sex crimes have evolved significantly since the early 1980s,” Jordan told WaPo. “In 1982, there was little awareness of the impact of sexual violence, assaults that did not involve vaginal intercourse were not even considered sex crimes, and many viewed sexual assaults by acquaintances as inconsequential. It’s astounding that any woman ever reported rape.”
The Washington Post clarified that there was a law but it was a misdemeanor at best.
“Attempted rape was classified as a misdemeanor with a one-year statute of limitations in the state before 1996, according to WaPo.”
But seeing that Kavanaugh and everyone else at the party have no recollection except Ford, this should have been an open shut case.
After hearing the testimony it seems like Kavanaugh will be appointed unless the FBI come up with something truly damning. Not this Democrats stall tactic BS that should have been properly handled back in July. This Maryland Police commentary just adds to how absurd this is.
