Megan McCain Slams Trump for Tweet Against Her Father

Trump pointed out that John McCain was responsible for the mess with the Steele Dossier. John McCain was another Republican that had sided more with the Democrats than Trump or any of his policies to MAGA. Meghan McCain was quick to respond on Twitter and she did not sugar coat how she felt.

President Trump slammed “last in his class” Sen. John McCain for a second day on Sunday as the late Arizona Republican’s daughter rebuked the president for the twitter attacks on her father.

Trump was responding to new revelations linking McCain to the dossier compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele that contained unsubstantiated claims about the president and the Russians.

“Report: Christopher Steele backed up his Democrat & Crooked Hillary paid for Fake & Unverified Dossier with information he got from ‘send in watchers’ of low ratings CNN. This is the info that got us the Witch Hunt! ,” Trump wrote in two postings about McCain Sunday morning.”

Trump’s Tweet about McCain and the Steele Dossier.

So it was indeed (just proven in court papers) “last in his class” (Annapolis) John McCain that sent the Fake Dossier to the FBI and Media hoping to have it printed BEFORE the Election. He & the Dems, working together, failed (as usual). Even the Fake News refused this garbage!”

Spreading the fake and totally discredited Dossier “is unfortunately a very dark stain against John McCain.” Ken Starr, Former Independent Counsel. He had far worse “stains” than this, including thumbs down on repeal and replace after years of campaigning to repeal and replace!”

Meghan McCain responded to Trump’s Tweet and she did not hold back a bit.

“No one will ever love you the way they loved my father…. I wish I had been given more Saturday’s with him. Maybe spend yours with your family instead of on twitter obsessing over mine?”

Like Meghan McCain, Trump is apparently unwilling to squash the beef, griping about McCain’s surprise vote on the Affordable Care Act.

At an off-the-record lunch with television news anchors prior to his State Of The Union address last month, Trump described McCain’s vote against repeal as a betrayal, the New York Times reported.

The President added: ‘By the way, he wrote a book and the book bombed.”

Meghan McCain loves her Dad but that doesn’t mean he was perfect. Trump has a point about John McCain’s involvement with the Steele Dossier. It does look bad on McCain for bringing that uncorroborated nonsense to the authorities. He started what seems to be a never-ending witch hunt on Trump.
