Melania’s Heartfelt Message About Latest Tragic Shooting Is What America Needs To Hear

Tragedy Struck A Maryland Local Community Newspaper – The First Lady Responded To The Victims

Thursday, the alleged attacker reportedly targeted the Capitol Gazette claiming the lives of 5 confirmed fatalities and two injured. Police say he entered the building with a shotgun, detonating smoke grenades, and looked for his victims as he walked through the office.

Police also say that threats were sent through social media but want to wait until the investigation is complete before confirming if they were from the attacker. This story touched the First Lady’s heart as she addressed the victims directly on social media.

According to The Daily Caller, First Lady Melania Trump tweeted a heartfelt message to the victims of a shooting that occurred Thursday outside of the building that housed Capital Gazette news.

The First Lady tweeted, “Today’s violence at the Capital Gazette was tragic & evil. My heart goes out to all affected in this brutal & senseless attack, & I send thoughts & prayers for comfort to the friends, family & colleagues of those killed & injured.”

As Reported By CNN:

Anne Arundel County deputy police chief Bill Krampf said the suspect “possibly” had a connection to the paper through social media.
“This person was prepared to shoot people. His intent was to cause harm,” he said.
The suspected gunman, who authorities said was a white male in his late 30s, was found hiding under a desk in the building, Anne Arundel County Executive Steven Schuh told CNN.
He was taken into custody and is being interviewed, police said. Authorities do not yet know what the motive for the shooting might be.
Two law enforcement sources said his fingerprints appear to have been altered, making it difficult to identify him that way. He was identified using facial recognition software, according to one law enforcement source.
Authorities have not released the suspect’s name, but multiple law enforcement sources identified him as Jarrod Warren Ramos. Police are outside an address connected to Ramos in Laurel, Maryland.
