Michael Moore Posts Tweet Celebrating The Attempted Assault On An American President

It is not news that Michale Moore despises Trump but in a recent tweet it seems like he may be encouraging violence against the current president by praising previous efforts. Moore tweeted the following on December 14th.

“Happy Shoe Day. Today is the 10th anniversary of this act of civil disobedience by an Iraqi citizen. Thousands of American troops and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians died for a lie Bush and Cheney told. Never, ever wish for this duo over Trump. Both are profoundly evil.”

Moore’s is referring to when Iraqi journalist Muntadhar al-Zaidi’s threw both of his shoes at then-President George W. Bush at a press conference in Iraq.

By approving this is he condoning violence. He may not have liked Bush and clearly dislikes Trump but he should never be condoning assault

But Moore has already expressed that he thinks Trump may be the last American President. He believes Trump might be unwilling to give up the reins and feels he may need to be forced out of office.

While appearing on Stephen Colbert’s “Late Show,” he said, “Sadly, Trump is not going to leave. He plans to be re-elected; he loves the term ‘president for life.’ The only way that we’re going to stop this is eventually we’re all going to have to put our bodies on the line. You’re going to have to be willing to do this.”
