Oliver Stone, a famed director known for films like Scarface, Platoon, and Wallstreet was on an Iranian Film Festival Panel.
During The 36th Fajr International Film Festival Stone started in on how he feels about America. How he dislikes our President and thinks we are no longer a Country that sticks to its treaties.
“The filmmaker told a local journalist that he would have to liken Trump to “Beelzebub,” a name sometimes given to the devil.”
But Stone was not done there as he wanted to bash more than Trump.
“We made a mess out of Iraq, Syria, Libya, but it doesn’t matter to the American public. It’s okay to wreck the Middle East,” said Stone, criticizing the neo-conservative policy of “creative destruction.” He added, “It doesn’t matter who is President — Bush, Obama or Trump — the U.S. will break any treaty” in its interests.
Answering a question from an Al Jazeera reporter, Stone named Saudi Arabia as a major destabilizer in the Middle East, and ironically commented on how “creatively destructive” they were.”

Stone also had the gall to call America a global outlaw. But this is not the first time he has been critical of America’s Foreign Policy. Back in 2017 he said the following:
“It’d be remiss of me not to remind you, especially you younger writers, that you can be critical of your government and your society,” the three-time Oscar-winner said tonight at the Beverly Hilton. “You don’t have to fit in. It’s fashionable now to take shots at Republicans and Trump and avoid the Obamas and Clintons.
But remember this: In the 13 wars we’ve started over the last 30 years and the $14 trillion we’ve spent, and the hundreds of thousands of lives that have perished from this earth, remember that it wasn’t one leader but a system, both Republican and Democrat. It’s a system that has been perpetrated under the guise that these are just wars justifiable in the name of our flag.”
Americans have many freedoms that are not found worldwide. These freedoms have allowed people like Oliver Stone to become rich. Yet he bashes America in Iran, a country known to be affiliated with terrorism.
