OMG, White House Admits It Has No Idea What The Hell Kamala Is Doing About Immigration

Clearly, the White House is kicking the can down the road and hoping that the problem will go away. They just admitted that they have no idea what the hell the Vice President is doing about the border crisis.

Immigration has become a heated topic of discussion in recent years, and the Biden Administration has been especially vocal about its stance on the issue. Vice President Kamala Harris has made a few public appearances related to immigration since August of 2021, but it’s still unclear just what her role is in the crisis.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was unable to provide any specifics when asked about the vice president’s role in the issue during a Monday briefing, instead saying that Harris has been working on a “holistic approach” to the issue. But the truth is that, despite the vice president’s insistence on a more humane approach to the immigration crisis, there has been little to no concrete action taken to address the issue.

Border officials have reported that encounters at the southern border have hit an all-time high this year and stood at 2.4 million as of September. And with the expiration of the pandemic-era Title 42 policy that called on border agents to turn away migrants at the border, many experts fear that the situation will only get worse.

What’s more, Harris has made it clear that she does not believe that the Biden Administration is responsible for the current crisis. Instead, she has blamed Republicans for the situation, telling NPR, “sadly, what we have seen in particular, I am sad to say, from Republicans in Congress is an unwillingness to engage in any meaningful reform that could actually fix a lot of what we are witnessing.”

However, this is an oversimplification of the issue. The truth is that both parties have contributed to the current crisis. The Biden Administration has failed to implement effective immigration reform while killing plans that were working and the GOP let them. Let’s hope that Republicans have learned from their mistakes and will take that into January with them when they assume power in the House.

Otherwise, this crap will just continue.

Lastly, the White House needs to get its act together. Not knowing what the hell the Vice President is up to (especially when she’s supposed to be handling a crisis) is not a good look.
