On the fifth of August Trump supporters came together with some residents of Baltimore to clean up a filthy waste-ridden part of the city. They collected 12 tons of trash in about 12 hours. The volunteers numbered 170 people and when they were done many residents were ecstatic about once again living in a clean neighborhood. But some people took offense to the aid, especially the MSM of Baltimore, they were upset and concerned that there was an ulterior motive. Philanthropist Bill Pulte saw the shameful behavior of the MSM in Baltimore and challenged them to prove they want better for the city.
“Whatever he says his motives were, Mr. Presler’s presence in Baltimore reinforces the tired image of our failing urban cores. That the poor people in this dilapidated city can’t take care of their own neighborhoods and all the public officials around them have failed as well. The bureaucratic, all-talk Democrats strike again. If a crowd of volunteers could clean up 12 tons of trash in 12 hours, how incompetent and helpless must Baltimoreans be if they can’t manage it in decades, right?”
Pulte offered to donate big money to retract their hateful article. He tweeted the following tagging The Baltimore Sun so they couldn’t weasel out of it.
“My teammates and I will pledge $100,000 to Baltimore neighborhood clean up (I know a thing or two about that!) in Baltimore if the Baltimore Sun retracts this article that discourages people who want to help the City, when the amazing residents want their help!”
So all it would take is a retraction of this nasty article and The Baltimore Sun would be helping to fix up this run-down city. The sad part here is that Pulte posted that back on the 7th and you can still find that article on their website. So I guess they don’t really care about the welfare of their own city…
