President Trump Walks Out On Nancy Pelosi During Security Meeting

On Wednesday afternoon, President Trump once again gathered the congressional leaders he had gathered previously for another meeting over the partial government shutdown.

According to those in the meeting, Nancy Pelosi once again refused to support our law enforcement working at the border by funding a border wall.

Chuck Schumer said that “He asked Speaker Pelosi, ‘will you agree to my wall?’ She said no. And he just got up, and said, ‘Well we’ve got nothing to discuss.'”

The President took to Twitter to share what was really said.

“Just left a meeting with Chuck and Nancy, a total waste of time. I asked what is going to happen in 30 days if I quickly open things up, are you going to approve Border Security which includes a Wall or Steel Barrier? Nancy said, NO. I said bye-bye, nothing else works!

Here’s why this is important. This is just clear evidence that Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi were lying during their address that followed President Trump’s address Tuesday night.

Chuck Schumer has said that negotiations can happen on the border wall separate from the shutdown. Basically, let’s open the government back up and then we can continue talking about the border.

That’s not the way it seems according to what the President said. He asked if he opens the government quickly if they’ll approve border security for a wall or steel barrier and still refused.

According to the address on Tuesday as reported by Fox News,

The president’s prime-time address on Tuesday night saw both camps drifting even further apart, with Trump declaring a “humanitarian and security crisis” and vowing to protect America, “so help me God” – and Democratic congressional leaders saying Trump was working to “manufacture a crisis, stoke fear and divert attention from the turmoil in his administration.”

I believe that we’re going to find out this week what the end result is going to be and what a real crisis we have at our border.
