Twitter Founder Gets Bashed For Sharing Thrifty Tip.
It is tough to be kind when you have an overly sensitive following. Jack a Twitter founder forgot himself when he was trying to be nice and share a discount on Chic-Fil-A. He forgot that his followers hate a company that disagrees with their views. As no one is allowed to have an opposing opinion in their eyes.
See Jack was probably just thinking about how good their food is, not the owner’s personal stance on gay marriage. It would be one thing if Chic-Fil-A was discriminatory against the gay community then there might be an argument there. But they don’t discriminate in any way shape or form, from employment, to who they serve.
Chic-Fil-A might believe in free speech but many people on Twitter don’t. which Jack quickly found out.
“On behalf of the whole LGBTQ community, Jack, kindly boost your head out of your ass.”
“Why is Twitter boosting a notoriously anti-gay company during #PrideMonth and an outspokenly Christian company during #Ramadan?”
The criticism went on until Jack decided to apologize for somehow being insensitive.
You’re right. Completely forgot about their background
“I didn’t think $45 million in employee scholarships, donating food to shelters, school spirit days, 12 months of giving promotions, and community events were such a bad part of Chick-fil-a’s background. Show me another restaurant that even comes close to such selfless acts.”
“And when they opened on a Sunday to feed first responders at the Pulse nightclub shooting.”
This is the sad state of Twitter and really the public. The poor founder was only trying to share a tip and gets attacked by the oversensitive left. He should never have caved. There was no need for an apology, there was nothing offensive about his post. It’s catering to that mindset that hurts America.
