AOC found that not everyone appreciates her non-stop bashing of the president. The Freshman Congresswoman had a meeting with local community leaders in the Bronx.
Everything was going fine until she got fixated on Trump. Those in attendance claim she repeatedly bashed Trump, to the point that more than a couple walked out, sick of her hateful nature.
“AOC held the closed-door meeting with about a dozen members of the board on Wednesday night, marking a rare visit to the Bronx part of her district.
One Middle Eastern board member raised the issue of the conflict in Yemen.
The progressive firebrand slammed the US policy of providing bombs to Saudi Arabia, which has supported Yemen’s government in a brutal civil war, according to attendees. Some blamed her for not including the roles of other nations in explaining the volatile region’s violence.”
“When Israel came up later in the meeting, Ocasio-Cortez suggested President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are autocrats, according to a person at the meeting.
“I was revolted,” said an attendee, who didn’t want his name published.”
“I just couldn’t hear her BS anymore,” said former Community Board 11 chairman and Army veteran Anthony Vitaliano, 78. “I just got up, got my umbrella in my hand, and walked right out.”
Vitaliano also worked for the New York Police Department for nearly 40 years and led the Bronx’s homicide detectives.”
“She knocks the country, she knocks the president. And that’s not what America is about,” Silvio Mazzella, 74, a Vietnam War veteran and treasurer of Community Board 11 said.
“Ocasio-Cortez’s spokesman Corbin Trent denied there was a walk-out during the conference.
“The only person that left the meeting while it was underway was someone who had to go pick up their children,” he said.
Vitaliano fired back at Trent’s claim, calling it “bullshit.”
“Everybody that was there knows I walked out,” he added.”
Sounds like AOC is trying to save face. Considering these are the people that are responsible for electing her, and even they can’t stand her.
