CNN Correspondent Ed Lavandera went down to Florida, where he interviewed Trump supporters. The clip showed just how strong the support for Trump is in North Orlando. It felt like the Lavandera was trying to indirectly mock the supporters. But it instead showed that there are a lot of people out there, that are not being swayed by the manipulations of the MSM.
Lavandera brought up how the people in North Orlando want the best for our country. They support Trump so wholeheartedly, that they are praying for Trump to get free of all of the Dems bogus investigations.
“The devotion to President Trump is so intense here that a recent meeting of the village Republicans started out with a prayer asking God to ‘deliver President Trump from the evil that is bent on destroying him,'” Lavandera said.
Lavandera then found a Trump supporter to interview.
“Do you worry that President Trump’s divisiveness, his lies, are gonna hurt him in the long run?” asked Lavandera.
“First of all, I don’t think so because I, you can’t,” Trump Supporter Ed Ardito started, “you’d have to tell me what he’s lied about, first of all, I don’t think he’s lied about anything, and as far as divisiveness…”
“You don’t think he’s lied about anything?” Lavandera asked in disbelief.
“No,” Ardito said.

I am not sure, what exactly CNN was aiming to get out of this segment. It shows that Trump supporters are strong in their convictions, and don’t believe the MSM. So what is wrong with that?
I think the intention of the clip might have been to show off that Trump supporters don’t believe Trump lied. Lavandera’s expression shows he can’t believe that Ardito doesn’t think the president lies. But Trump is no Bill Clinton, and he is by far more transparent than Obama ever was. But I am sure CNN will get around to admitting that at some point…
