CNN and NBC are biased news sources and that is fine everyone is entitled to their opinion. But if you are going to be a news organization you could at least report the good news. The Summit meeting between Trump and Kim Jong Un is history in the making. This is the first time a sitting president has sat down with the leader of North Korea. Not only did they meet, they have signed a document where North Korea will begin the process of denuclearization. Trump is beginning the process to bring peace to Korea. But some news organizations have downplayed the summit.
Trump went to Twitter to express his observation of these “News” organizations.
“So funny to watch the Fake News, especially NBC and CNN. They are fighting hard to downplay the deal with North Korea. 500 days ago they would have “begged” for this deal-looked like war would break out. Our Country’s biggest enemy is the Fake News so easily promulgated by fools!”
CNN’s Wolf Blitzer responded to this post with his co-hosts. His co-host David Gregory missed the point when he said this:
“It’s one of the things that bothered me most about the president is, I don’t even take what he’s saying seriously. It’s that he’s so casual about throwing out language, and you really undermine the presidency when you do that, because there will be a time, after Donald Trump, believe it or not. And he is doing damage to this notion of “Do we believe what the president says?” But we live in an environment where social media, principally, allows so much hyperbole, but now the president engages in it and it becomes kind of the bloodstream of our public discourse, where you could say something that over the top, and it will be the President of the United States who says it. And I don’t take it seriously, which is a problem too, because he’s not really being serious when he says it.”
Wolf, of course, ended the bit claiming the contrary of what Trump wrote. “We are not the enemy of Donald Trump, We love the American people.”

But they are missing the point, they did nothing but attack Trump. If they really wanted to prove him wrong they could start reporting the news, even if it means praising Trump when he does well. Isn’t that the point of a journalist to report the news, to tell people what is happening? In this case, Trump deserves credit for starting the peace process in Korea. These “News” sources should be properly covering this event, instead of diminishing this historic event simply because Trump is involved.
