WOW, Even Rep Schiff Thinks Rep Amash Is Jumping The Gun
Margaret Brennan interviewed Rep. Adam Schiff on CBS’s Face The Nation. Brennan asked Schiff about the Rep Amash’s claim that Trump was impeachable. Even Schiff was hesitant
“Rep. Amash “suggested that the president has carried out impeachable behavior. Does this meet the Democrat standard now to consider and move forward with an impeachment inquiry? Brennan asked Rep Schiff.
“Well What the speaker has referred to and I have as well is can impeachment be successful in the Senate? We see no signs of that yet and ya know I respect what Justin Amash is doing has said he showed more courage than any other Republican in the House or Senate. But what may be pushing us in the direction of impeachment, in any event, has less to do with Justin Amash and more do with the fact that the administration is engaging in a maximum obstructionism campaign against Congress.”
“You do think there is more of a movement towards impeachment?” Brennan questioned.
“I think we are seeing more members that recognize that the administration is acting in a lawless fashion, having obstructed justice now obstructing Congress and our lawful function. And if we conclude that there’s no other way to do our jobs, no other way to do oversight, no other way to show the American people what this president has done, his unethical and illegal acts as outlined in the Mueller report then we may get there.”
“What you are suggesting, just to clarify, by opening an inquiry or proceedings into impeachment it would allow you to get the information and evidence you have been asking for, that it provides a tool if it fails? Brennan asked.
“It does, It provides an additional tool. What we have been doing is we have been gradually escalating the tactics we need to use to get information for the American people. So we began by asking for voluntary cooperation that was not forthcoming we followed with subpoenas, we followed with contempt, we may follow with inherent contempt and we may have to follow with impeachment.”
“There may be an odd confluence of interest here between the Trump administration and people around the president who want him impeached because they think it’s politically advantageous and increasing number of Democrats and maybe Republicans who feel this president’s conduct is so incompatible with the office, incompatible with our system of check and balances, that if the only way that we can do our oversight is through impeachment proceeding then maybe we have to go down that road,” Schiff continued.
“But I think it will be important to show the American people this was a decision made reluctantly, this is a decision forced upon us, rather than something we were eager to embrace.”

Rep Schiff is up there with Nadler and Water when it comes to wanting to get rid of Trump. For Schiff to say there is not enough there right now to impeach the president yet is big. He claims it is because the Senate would not back them. But if they had a smoking gun, even the Senate would be hard pressed not to consider it.
This further seems to prove that Amash is off his rocker. If big-time Trump haters like Schiff, who have combed the Mueller Report with a fine comb, are saying ‘not yet’ then what the heck if Amash talking about? Maybe he needs to read it again as even true anti-Trumper say there is not a case.
