I can only imagine that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is currently soaking his pillow with tears of disappointment. The shifty Democrat threatened to ban Tump fom retuning to New York, earilier this year. However, his threat was unfounded and now that’s been confirmed by the Atterony General, you just know Cuomo is beside himself.
After 4 long years of random accusations and the launch of multiple investigations, Manhatten’s DA reported there is nothing there, according to Politico:
Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance has indicated he does not currently plan to charge the Trump Organization with crimes related to allegations of “hush money” payments and real estate value manipulations, according to a personal lawyer for Donald Trump.
Ronald Fischetti, a New York attorney who represents the former president, said on Monday that in a meeting last week, he asked Vance’s team for details on charges they were considering.
Fischetti told Politico that the only cases of tax evasion his team could fine were not directly linked to Trump. Basically stating that a small group of executives from the Trump organization didn’t pay taxes on a couple of simple corporate benefits. None of which would be worth the DA’s time persuing and certainly not worth taxpayer’s funds wasted to discover.
“We asked, ‘Is there anything else?’” Fischetti told POLITICO. “They said, ‘No.’”
But wait! What about accusations from Trump’s former lawyer, Micheal Cohen, a convicted criminal and claims made by former porn star Stormy Daniels?
When asked if the meeting touched on allegations made by Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen and by adult film star and director Stormy Daniels, Fischetti replied, “Nothing. Not a word on that.”

Politico noted that the AG did say some parts of the investigation are still ongoing but that nothing, thus far, seems to tie to Trump. I don’t think any of us, including Democrats, expected the AG to discover anything incremenating against the 45th president but it’s still delectable to know that Cuomo and the other DEmocrats have lost a few of their favorite claims.
