Kamala Makes Shocking Claim About Rural Americans

The Dems are setting the stage for the upcoming elections. They are trying to come up with a reasonable excuse for relaxing voter identification requirements. So they have Vice President Harris, the person that is in charge of fixing the border crisis, pushing the foolish notion that rural Americans can’t get access to photo IDs. Harris appeared on BET’s “State of Our Union” and talked about needing a Kinkos to vote…

“Is agreeing to voter ID one of those compromises that you’d support?” BET News host Soledad O’Brien asked Harris.

“I don’t think that we should underestimate what that could mean. Because in some people’s minds, that means well, you’re going to have to Xerox or photocopy your ID to send it in to prove you are who you are. Well, there are a whole lot of people, especially people who live in rural communities, who don’t… there’s no Kinko’s, there’s no OfficeMax near them. People have to understand when we’re talking about voter ID laws, be clear about who you have in mind and what would be required of them to prove who they are. Of course, people have to prove who they are, but not in a way that makes it almost impossible for them to prove who they are.”

They have proven before that people in rural areas have no problem getting photo IDs. In fact, most rural Americans get their IDs in their teens when they get their Driver’s Licenses like everyone else does.  People in rural areas also have their own DMVs and can easily get a photo ID for voting if they choose. We are not a third-world country. Harris is just pushing the Dem narrative here that seems to be aimed at allowing anyone, regardless of citizen status, to vote in the upcoming elections.
