Bongino Snaps After Mar-a-Lago Raid: ‘That Wasn’t Law Enforcement, That Was Tyranny’ [Video]

Dan Bongino joins the thousands of voices calling for the FBI to undergo some major changes. Faith in the Department of Justice has eroded substantially over the years and I agree, it would take some major changes to restore some symolance of trust in the organization after years of being a political weapon for the left.

The former law enforcement officer began, “Folks, the FBI is lost. It’s broken, irredeemably corrupt at this point. The inexcusable raid on President Trump’s home was the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

“I mean it when I say it. It’s way past time to clean this FBI house up,” he explained. “They have burned every last shred of faith and trust freedom-loving Americans had in it. And to the libs out there, listen, don’t even waste your time lecturing me on this issue. Not a second. I gaff you right off. I pay no attention to you losers, OK?”

Bongino, a former federal agent, has previously defended the DOJ despite clear indications that the branch has been politically weaponized for decades. Now, he says it’s time to clean house to rebuild trust.

Bongino continued, “Not just Christopher Wray — fire anyone involved in the raid. I don’t want to hear any more rank-and-file stuff. I was rank-and-file. I saw stuff I didn’t like; I left. It’s not hard. You swore an oath to the Constitution. That matters. If you played any role in this raid, you should be gone. It’s time to clean house — and yes, I’m saying it on this network tonight. Draining the swamp has to be a top priority for whoever the GOP puts in the White House next.”

Trump slammed the FBI for knowingly taking privileged documents. He explained on his platform Truth Social, “Oh great! It has just been learned that the FBI, in its now famous raid of Mar-a-Lago, took boxes of privileged ‘attorney-client’ material, and also ‘executive’ privileged material, which they knowingly should not have taken,” Trump wrote. “By copy of this TRUTH, I respectfully request that these documents be immediately returned to the location from which they were taken. Thank you!”
