You cannot convince me that Democrats are the party FOR women. Between victim shaming and pronoun wars, I wouldn’t vote blue if you paid me. An LA Times writer shamelessly targeted Melania Trump who privately grieved about losing her sense of security. In a column she wrote Wednesday, Robin Abcarian blamed Mrs. Trump for the raid claiming that she deserved it for marrying Donald Trump.
Abcarian repeated a phrase that was once on a jacket the former First Lady worse writing, “I really don’t care, do you?” adding that she doesn’t care that Trump feels “violated.”
Abcarian started her column by mentioning how Mrs. Trump felt about the FBI search, which extended into her own closet. “After FBI agents reportedly searched her Mar-a-Lago bedroom for purloined government documents, former First Lady Melania Trump recently told friends she felt ‘violated,’ reports Radar Online,” she noted.
Abcarian noted that it was off the FBI raided Mrs. Trump’s closet but joked using a phrase she found funny, “‘What were they looking for,’ quipped my reliably funny friend Roy Rivenburg, ‘Victoria’s National Security Secret?'”
According to Abcarian, it’s impossible to feel sympathy for Mrs. Trump and blames her popularity among liberals. The same people who mocked Trump (and still do) for her accent and criticize the time it takes her to formulate her thoughts in English.
The columnist wrote, “Melania never seemed comfortable in the role of [the] first lady, and it was always painful to watch her strained interactions with her husband. And yet, even while she seemed sometimes an object of pity, she was not a particularly sympathetic figure. She left office as the least popular first lady since such surveys were conducted.”
Abcarian acknowledged, “While it’s unsettling to have strangers paw through your closets and unmentionables, the unprecedented search of Melania’s bedroom and closets was legal.” She added, “The warrant applied to all the rooms of Trump’s residence — his office, his storage rooms and ‘all other rooms or areas within the premises used or available to be used by [Trump] and his staff.'”
Abcarian implied that Trump deserved it for marrying her husband, “This is simply the price you pay when you are married to a sticky-handed former president who is unable to grasp the difference between things that belong to him and things that do not.”
Abcarian continued: “Turns out you have to put up with the occasional search warrant in service of the occasional suspected felony. And the occasional besmirching of your panties by government hands even gloved ones.”She also claimed that if Mrs. Trump is “never going to feel comfortable wearing” her underwear “ever again,” she “has the wherewithal to toss them out and get some new ones.”
The columnist even commented on the Trumps sex life which I did not include in this article because it’s crude. As always, I come with receipts so if you are interested in seeing what all Abcarian said you can go read her article for yourself here.
She ended the article by telling Mrs. Trump to blame her husband if she felt violated by the raid. I would like to note, that the details of the investigation against Trump have not been released. The leaks, if true, were all specifically selected to give the public an impression of what is happening and do not offer enough to go on.
Certainly not enough to mock and shame a woman for expressing how she felt violated after having men dig through her intimate items and private things. I’d also like to add that Melania Trump is allowed to have feelings of her own, no matter what you think about her husband.
