CNN To Face Trump’s Wrath In Major Defamation Lawsuit, But The Won’t Go Down Alone!

Trump on Wednesday said CNN should “prove the big lie” about the 2020 election in the defamation case he filed against the media company this week. Trump also hinted that he would be going after others, but even if that’s not the case we all know CNN won’t go down alone.

Trump told Real America’s Voice network show “Just The News No Noise” hosts John Solomon and Amanda Head that CNN “will never be able to prove” in court that his claim the 2020 election was rife with fraud is false.

“Prove the big lie. The big lie is not a big lie at all. The big lie is the opposite,” the former president said. “All the stats — we have everything. Unfortunately, we haven’t had judges that want to look at it. They don’t want to change elections.”

Trump filed his $475 million lawsuit against CNN on Monday, accusing the news network of using its “massive influence” to defame him with a “barrage of negative associations and innuendos.”

In a statement released on Monday about the lawsuit, Trump noted that he may also sue the J6 committee and its Hollywood production:

“Likewise, we may bring appropriate action against the Unselect Committee of January 6th because, notwithstanding overwhelming evidence, they REFUSED to investigate the massive Presidential Election Fraud which took place, but only investigate and harass the people and Patriots who complained and asked questions about it. The rigging and stealing of our Presidential Election was perhaps The Crime Of The Century, and look at what is happening to our Country now!

The Unselect Committee has refused to acknowledge, as was done by the Biden Inspector General at the Department of Defense, and others, that days ahead of January 6th, I recommended and authorized thousands of troops to be deployed to ensure that there was peace, safety, and security at the Capitol and throughout the Country. That offer of National Guard was rejected by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, and Mayor Bowser of Washington, D.C.—the law requires their request, they failed to make one, and in turn failed the Country.”

Trump warned the network back in July sending them a letter outlining his plans:

“This letter serves as formal notice of the false statements about President Donald J. Trump (“President Trump”) in numerous articles and televised transmissions published by Cable News Network, Inc. (“CNN”) including, but not limited to, those discussed below,” states the letter, dated last Thursday, July 21, giving CNN a deadline of Sunday. “Specifically, the Kafkaesque correspondence focuses on on-air and online use by CNN marque talent and reporters of the term the ‘Big Lie’ in regards to Trump’s repeated assertions that the 2020 election was stolen from him and the GOP.”

If Trump’s lawyers are able to settle this outside of court, CNN might save some face but the odds of that happening are slim to none. Despite the fact that the network made millions spinning various versions of the same story, I highly doubt they’re going to just fold. What do you think? Let me know in the comments below.
