Demoted Don Lemon isn’t used to sharing the stage and it shows. The libtard stepped out of the woke bubble for a moment to say that women cannot fairly compete against men in sports—A true, but an unacceptable statement for his leftist co-hosts who snapped on him.
Lemon then went into defense mode and just dug himself a deeper hole as he unintentionally agreed with the argument against men competing against women.
“The men’s team makes more money, if they make more money, then they should get more money,” Lemon said. “The men’s team makes more money because people have more interest.”
Co-host Poppy Harlow blamed Big Tech and the media for not investing enough in women’s sports and advertising. According to her, people would be more interested if they only knew.
But Don just couldn’t stop putting his foot in his mouth.
“You guys, I am not sexist,” Lemon continued. “I grew up the only boy in a family of all women. I understand what you’re saying. But not everybody, honestly, has the same skill, not everybody has the same interest in the sport and I think women should be paid more, I do. But if the men—”
“You’re right that not everybody has the same skills because the women have better skills,” co-host and former Daily Caller reporter Kaitlan Collins interjected.
When Lemon added that competing against men will prevent women from achieving their recent successes, Harlow and Collins retaliated right away. After restating his initial claim that people are less interested in women’s sports, the discussion went on.
“Just go to a sport’s bar, guys, am I wrong?” Lemon said. “Or you just don’t want to say anything. But I go to a sports bar, if there’s a women’s basketball game on, I’m just being honest…”
Oops, Don. I think this was made funnier by the fact that Lemon, a proud LBGTQ media head, failed to recognize that his argument sided with the push to keep trans men out of women’s sports.
