It’s really frustrating when the media jumps on the bandwagon and just points fingers when it comes to illegal immigration. I mean, it’s a complex issue and everyone needs to come together to find a solution. Martha Raddatz of ABC’s This Week is just one example of this kind of behavior. Instead of actually trying to figure out what’s causing the influx of migrants and what the consequences are, she’s just trying to blame it all on the Republicans.
It’s absurd. Tucker Carlson of Tucker Carlson Tonight has been vocal about his criticism of the media’s handling of the issue. He’s right – if the media was serious about this, they’d actually be looking into the causes and repercussions and not just trying to assign blame.
We need to find a way to secure our border and ensure the safety and security of our nation, but it’s going to take serious effort from elected officials of both parties to make it happen. We can’t let the media distract us from the real issue by playing the blame game. We need to stay focused on finding a real solution to illegal immigration.
“It’s completely ignored by the media. Except when they are forced to respond and they tell you to shut up and stop complaining,” Carlson noted when discussing the ongoing immigration crisis in the United States.
Carlson played a clip of Raddatz: “You talk about the border wall, you talk about open borders. I don’t think I’ve ever heard President Biden say, we have an open border come on over, but people I have heard say it are you, are former President Trump, Ron DeSantis, that message reverberates in Mexico and beyond, so they do get the message that it is an open border and smugglers use all those kinds of statements.”
“You do fervently wish say 25,000 Haitians would move to Martha Raddatz’s neighborhood tonight. Maybe she’d give different coverage,” Carlson concluded.

The immigration crisis isn’t just going to go away like the talking heads seem to think. The American people will always care about the country’s security and not reporting the facts isn’t going to change that for Democrats.
