As the nation grapples with a rapidly changing educational landscape, many parents are increasingly concerned about the direction that public schools have taken. In recent years, Critical Race Theory (CRT) and trans-genderism have become an integral part of the curriculum in public schools across the country. This has left many parents wondering what happened to traditional academic subjects such as reading, writing, and math.
At its core, CRT is based upon the idea that racism exists in all aspects of society and it encourages people to think of themselves on racial lines. It also teaches that any success achieved by individuals can only be attributed to their race or ethnicity rather than their hard work and dedication. On top of this, trans-genderism is now being taught in classrooms as well.
This includes lessons on gender identity as well as teaching kids that they can choose whatever gender they want to identify with regardless of what sex they were born with.
This shift away from traditional education values towards woke ideology has left many conservative parents feeling frustrated and betrayed by their public school districts’ priorities. They believe that children should be learning more important concepts such as reading, writing, mathematics, science and history instead of focusing on alternative topics like CRT and trans-genderism.
Unfortunately for them though this doesn’t appear to be something our government will take a stand against anytime soon – they’re practically driving the movement!
This has left it up to individual school boards across the country decide how best to handle these issues in their own districts
So what’s the alternative?
Well, many families are moving their children into homeschools or private schools but that’s not a logical option for everyone, is it? Especially in this economy.
Public schools were developed to provide a standard of education to all, not a political grooming program. Unfortunately, this means parents and neighbors will have to be brave and speak up. Get the word out and write their representatives.
